The Dual Language Training Institute (DLTI) under the leadership of Dr. Leo Gomez and Dr. Richard Gomez is a leading force in dual language programs. Over the last 13 years, they have been extensively involved in the development, implementation and assessment of dual language education programs successfully implementing the Gómez & Gómez 50/50 Dual Language Enrichment Model, they originally developed in 1996. Their model is currently being implemented in school districts across the states of Texas, Washington, and Nevada.
NABE: The National Association for Bilingual Education is the only professional organization at the national level devoted to representing Bilingual Learners and Bilingual Education professionals.
